There’s a tremendous difference between suggesting getting rid of extremists and having the means to do it.

The British Army, for example, had both the intention and ample means to exterminate peoples throughout its history, as it attempted to do to my ancestors in 1755. Disgusting! Do you agree with that?

If you want to harp on history, you’re talking to the right person. And you, a supposed atheist, are supporting religious terrorists, period.

The ayatollah must just love you, and you are the one digging your own grave, not me.

I was outside the Iranian embassy in June, mate; I’ve been to three anti-sharia law demonstrations, so don’t you even dare to make stupid accusations of colluding with terrorists.

I think it is disgusting that you defend someone who calls for muslims to be put to death. When that comment came up, the discussion about the original news story was over. I’m not letting that get swept under the carpet. Shame on you for that.

You have actually derailed the thread by posting repetitive, dull, cheap personal insults against someone who happens to be muslim, and then wailing about deleted posts which incited violence.

You are making a fool of yourself by firing off inane, unintelligible babble and personal insults at people – by all means, carry on: you put yourself out of rational argument by doing so. As you can see, the only people rushing to your defence is someone posting under multiple pseudonyms.

This thread is truly weird. I have one comment for Nuriboy, who has been excessively abused, which I regret. It is the same one I periodically offer to so called gay Catholics: Nuriboy you stand no chance of persuading the institutions of Islam to change their backward, anti-intellectual, homophobic, anti-Jewish bigotry. Every time you go to a mosque to pray you endorse those views in public. There are no l;iberal mosques and from the the opinion polls I have seen precious few liberal or non-homophobic Muslims. Your faith serves no purpose. If there is a monotheistic God you can worship him in private where you don’t have to make a political statement by going to a Mosque where the majority hate you.

Abandon Islam and the majority of educated Christians (and particularly Catholics) have abandoned the nonsense in which they were brought up – it isn’t worth it!
